Romeo and Reese are stunning puppies with long silky coats, fat paws, and one sapphire blue eye & one brown one. They are a striking example of the mini dachshund breed. They have very calm, sweet, laid-back personalities and love to be cuddled, like little teddy bears.
This AKC litter is from Canadian show lines. They are up-to-date on vaccines, worming, and vet checks; parents Embark and GenSol tested. Puppies available now.

Our Dams:
Sapphire is a stunningly beautiful dapple with a happy, affectionate temperament. She has a beautiful long silky coat, and one blue eye which she often passes on to her puppies! She loves going with me to the barn to milk the goats, hiking, and just hanging out with us. She has lovely puppies and is a very good mom. Sapphire has been Embark tested. Bred to Taigo, she's given us dapples, creams, and light reds. Serenity (see below) is her lovely daughter.
Calamity, as her name suggests, is always up for adventure! Black and cream dapple, a bit smaller than Sapphire, she is not short on personality! She's been tested by Paw Print Genetics and Gensol. Bred to Taigo, she's thrown black & creams, and beautiful dapples.
Ariella is our smallest female but makes up for it with her feisty temperament. She is fiercely loyal and devoted to her family and full of love. She's been tested Gensol. Bred to Taigo, she's thrown black & tan/red, and light reds.
Our Sire:
Taigo is the sweetest male dog we've ever known. His disposition is so calm and loving. He passes this on to his puppies! He is a stunning ee clear cream. Taigo has been Embark and Gen Sol tested.
Upcoming Dam:
Serenity is a lovely black & cream dapple with the calmest, sweetest disposition. She has a the look of a princess and is always up for a hike or a snuggle. She's been tested by Paw Print Genetics.

Vom Treuen Wachter is located in southern Oregon. We have raised AKC registered miniature long-haired dachshunds since 2002. Focusing on quality rather than quantity, our dogs are much-loved members of our family and our everyday life. They live with us and enjoy many activities such as farm chores, hiking, camping, etc. and a variety of interaction with us, as well as with children, friends, and other animals on our farm. They get daily attention and love, and are sweet, healthy, outgoing, and adventurous. We believe in careful breeding for affectionate personalities and exceptional conformation, using the best genetics we can find. Our puppies are hand-raised with lots of love in our home. They have sweet, calm personalities and come in cream, dapple, black & tan, black & cream, & light red. They are health tested, vaccinated, vet checked, and socialized. We offer ongoing support to new owners of Vom Treuen Wachter puppies. We love making friends through our animals and seeing the joy our puppies bring to other people's lives. Indigo and Terra are the parents of our beautiful Sapphire. K-Luv von Treuen Wachter (right) was with us from 2008-2021; she will be forever in our hearts!
